B VITAMINS are a group of water-soluble vitamins that support the body and are considered essential to good health and well-being. They are responsible for energy release from food; the nervous and immune system; digestive system; healthy skin and nails; eyes and mouth; and heart health.
They are a class of vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism. In general, supplements containing all eight are referred to as a vitamin B complex.
